How to pick a perfect veil?

The veil is an iconic bridal accessory and it is important to pick a perfect one. There are many styles available and we made a list of a few things to consider before buying one:

Color

• Your veil should match the color of your dress or be a tone lighter

Design

• We usually recommend a simple veil for a dress that has a lot of going on (e.g. beading, multiple lace) - you don’t want to overshadow the dress. For a simple gown veil with beading or lace would be perfect - it will add some sparkle.

Length

• Shorter veils, like bandeaus, birdcages and blushers, tend to lend a bit more personality as well as vintage or  retro edge to your look

• Longer veils are more traditional and very flattering on any bride

• Longer waltz or floor-length veils will elongate a petite frame while mid-length styles, like fingertip or elbow-length veils, can visually cut you in half, making them a better pick for taller brides.

The latest bridal trend - off the shoulder dresses

We are so excited that the one most popular fashion trend has finally landed in the bridal world. Off the shoulder wedding dresses are the hottest trend at the moment. But don’t confuse a strapless dress with an off-the-shoulder wedding dress. Although both necklines reveal the shoulders, the off-the-shoulder neckline is a more subtle and feminine way of doing so, while wearing sleeves or covering part of your arms.

The below dresses are Atelier Pronovias latest 2018 collection featuring off the shoulder look. We love this romantic and very feminine looks.
